Job summary

Leeco Steel in Oshkosh, WI is seeking Material Handlers, Crane Operators, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners to support receiving, warehousing and shipping of steel products.

Positions on 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2nd shift 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM with duties including operating an overhead crane, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring safe, efficient shipment preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead crane preferred.
• Ability to coordinate movement of steel from receiving to shipping.
• Strong attention to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders and process steel distribution using an overhead crane.
• Store product by designating storage areas and update inventory.
• Prepare product for shipment by directing movement to staging area.
• Verify inventory reports and adjust entries.
• Document actions in forms, logs and reports.
• Monitor inventory by counts.
• Maintain safety standards.

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth we are seeking additional Material Handers, Crane Operators, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners for our Oshkosh, WI location. Previous experience with operating an overhead crane would be ideal. This is for 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Job Purpose:
Controls warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of steel from receiving to warehouse to shipping.

Duties

• Receives orders, loads and process steel distribution using an overhead crane.
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location inventory.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
• Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Maintains safety standards.
