Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of overhead crane operation experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a steel service center or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate 10-20 ton overhead cranes to move steel materials.
• Load, unload, and transport steel beams, plate, and other materials.
• Build and stage customer orders based on work orders.
• Organize material locations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Inspect cranes and equipment daily and report safety concerns.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Support machine operators and production teams by supplying materials.
