Qualifications

• MUST HAVE experience in operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a traveling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments.
• Observe load hookup and determine the safety of the load.
• Manipulate controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
• Ensure correct materials are placed properly for production.
• Sort finished material for movement to other departments.
