Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations across the United States. This role requires electrical and mechanical expertise, comfort with heights, and a safety-first approach.

You will inspect, maintain, and repair cranes, provide on-call support, and collaborate with customers and facility directors to determine service needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Willing to travel and on-call rotation.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for material handling improvement.
