Job summary

Vitale's Pizza of Zeeland is seeking an Ovens Operator to join our kitchen team. In a fast-paced, full-service restaurant, you’ll ensure pizzas are finished to perfection, prepared for dine-in or delivery, and presented with care.

This role offers the chance to learn along an experienced team at a locally loved pizzeria; evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle hot equipment safely.

• Remove pizzas from the oven at the ideal time for perfect quality.
• Cut pizzas accurately and efficiently according to standard procedures.
• Box pizzas for takeout or prepare for delivery with appropriate packaging.
• Place dine-in orders in the expo window for server pick-up.
• Maintain a clean, organized oven and prep area throughout each shift.
