Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking an Oven Operator to set up and operate ovens, ensuring baked and fried products meet precise temperature and time specifications.

The role requires meticulous attention to process controls, record-keeping, and adherence to safety and GMP standards. Responsibilities include pre-op setup, monitoring temperatures, and collaborating with line leads to resolve issues, while maintaining accurate production documentation and supporting team members on the production

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow oven and line instructions.
• Ability to monitor temperatures, times, and product specs with accuracy.
• Able to work with limited supervision and maintain focus on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ovens to bake and fry products at correct temperatures and times.
• Record temperatures, pressures, and moisture levels as required by specs.
• Complete and file oven/bake time worksheets and production records.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Address equipment issues or deviations per supervisor instructions.
• Support mixers and depositors as needed and report issues to leadership.
