Reading Bakery Systems, a global leader in bakery equipment, seeks aWelder / Oven Assembly Technician in Robesonia, PA. You will interpret engineering drawings, weld components, and assemble ovens to exact specs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on welding, precision measurement, and collaboration with engineers and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and on-time production. Full-time with first/second shifts and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years industrial assembly experience; 2 years welding or bakery equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Ability to measure to 0.001 inch using gauges and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly drawings and bills of materials to identify parts and their function within machinery.
• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials.
• Assemble components using hand and power tools, ensuring precision alignment and secure connections.
• Operate weld cleaning equipment and inspect work using precision measuring tools.
• Fit, adjust, and align mechanical components according to design tolerances.
• Assist in machine testing and adjustments to meet operational specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Complete and maintain production and quality control records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, coordinators, and engineers to ensure efficient workflow.
