Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown is seeking accounting students who will be graduating in the upcoming school year to join our OASyS group for the November 2027 class. You will collaborate with senior staff to support client needs, manage invoicing and cash receipts, and assist with reconciliations and close processes.

You will gain experience in payroll, setup and implementation of new accounting systems, and client-facing projects in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting with GPA 3.0+
• Experience using QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Associates, Managers and Partners to balance multiple client needs.
• Manage bill payments, invoicing and cash receipt applications for clients.
• Perform bank and GL account reconciliations; investigate reconciling items.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for clients.
• Run payroll and reconcile related journal entries.
• Assist with setup and implementation of new accounting systems and procedures.

Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
