Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown invites you to join our Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team in New Jersey. You will support multiple client needs by handling bill payments, invoicing, and cash receipts while performing reconciliations and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

You will also help with payroll processing and setup of new accounting systems, collaborating with senior staff and clients to ensure accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to support multiple client needs.
• Process bill payments, invoicing and cash receipt applications.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for clients.
• Run payroll and reconcile related journal entries.
• Assist with setup/implementation of new accounting systems as needed.
• Support ad hoc accounting and reporting projects.
