Job summary

Colony Tire is looking for an Outside Commercial Salesman to drive sales of tires and related services in a fast-paced retail environment. This full-time role emphasizes building long-term relationships with customers and expanding commercial accounts, including industrial and fleet segments.

You will regularly meet with prospects, demonstrate products, explain features, and negotiate terms while coordinating deliveries and installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year related tire sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Two or four-year college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and regularly contact prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests
• Answer questions relating to products, prices, availability, warranties, and credit terms; solicit new accounts and manage existing accounts
• Maintain margin and sales volume to meet objectives
• Arrange delivery and installation of products and equipment; work with dealers and service departments
• Plan and hold tire events
• Identify prospective customers from directories, leads, and trade shows
