Myers Park Country Club, Inc is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our Outside Service staff for a temporary full-time role through December. You will help members and guests with bag, cart, and range services, working outdoors in a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates are reliable, enjoy working outside in all weather, and can stand for long periods while assisting with carts, loading bags, and maintaining the bag storage area.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Walk and stand up to 7 hours daily on various surfaces.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Operate golf carts safely; driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide prompt service.
• Assist with bags and transportation to staging area.
• Move carts from storage to staging area and check safety.
• Load bags onto carts and service practice facilities.
• Supply scorecards and advise on course conditions.
• Return bags and clean carts after use.
• Maintain bag storage area cleanliness.

Description

MPCC is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our Outside Service staff, this is the crew that keeps things running smoothly by providing top-notch bag, cart, and range services to our members and guests. This temporary full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who can work outside, both independently and in groups, and is available consistently until December, as the golf course will temporarily close for renovations at that time.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly and provide prompt, courteous service


• Monitor the parking lot, assist members with bags, and provide transportation to the staging area


• Bring carts from storage to the staging area; check for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety concerns


• Load bags from storage onto carts


• Service the practice facilities for member and guest use


• Supply scorecards and pencils, and advise members of course conditions


• Remove bags from carts and return bags to assigned rack in storage room


• Return and clean carts after use


• Maintain cleanliness and order of bag storage room

Requirements

• Must be available to work outside year-round in all weather conditions (light/dark, hot/cold, humid/dry, etc.)


• Walk and stand, up to 7 hours a day on various surfaces


• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds frequently


• Work in multiple positions, such as standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting


• Ability to safely operate golf carts and ball picker (driver’s license required)
