Job summary

Arcis Golf at The Woodlands Country Club, Palmer Course in The Woodlands, TX, seeks hospitality professionals to welcome guests and assist golfers with bags and services, ensuring a smooth check-in experience.

You will train and supervise outside service staff, oversee cart maintenance, inventory, and safety compliance, while delivering exceptional service to members and guests across events and areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course operations or a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of golf equipment and terminology.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.

• Equipment and Facilities Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of golf carts, clubs, and practice facilities.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of range balls, tees, and other golf-related items.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce golf course rules; ensure environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services: Welcome and assist golfers with their bags, equipment, and provide exceptional customer service. Manage the golf bag drop area, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process. Coordinate tee times, cart rentals, and other golf-related services for guests. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Staff Supervision: Train and schedule outside service staff. Supervise and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
3. Equipment and Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of golf carts, clubs, and practice facilities. Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of golf carts, range equipment, and practice areas. Report any equipment or facility issues to Director of Golf or General Manager.
4. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of range balls, tees, and other golf-related items.
5. Safety and Compliance: Enforce golf course rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, such as chemical handling and disposal. Address safety concerns promptly and take necessary corrective actions.
