Your Job

Molex is seeking an Outside Services Global Category Manager. This position is for a Global Category Manager responsible for category and vendor management of Outside Services. Outside Services primarily includes Consulting, Staff Augmentation, Engineering Services, Strategic Integrators (SIs), R&D/Lab Services, Quality Services, Strategic Marketing, and non-plant indirect Temp Labor Services.

Molex brings together innovation and technology to deliver electronic solutions worldwide, with a presence in over 40 countries, serving markets such as data communications, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicles, and medical.

What You Will Do
  1. Manage and assist with sourcing Outside Services, vendors, and contract negotiations supporting global Molex across all Divisions (Transportation, Medical & Pharma, Consumer & Customer Solutions, Datacom & Specialty Solutions, Aerospace & Defense).
  2. Develop a preferred supplier list (PSL) to satisfy Molex's global needs collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  3. Manage supplier evaluation, selection, pricing, and contract negotiations from sourcing activities as needed.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders to manage commercial, legal, and compliance risks with procurement contracts.
  5. Review and negotiate commercial contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  6. Develop sourcing, negotiation, and vendor strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
  7. Communicate effectively with senior management inside and outside the company.
  8. Support stakeholder needs for vendor and procure-to-pay processes.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and contracting at an enterprise or global level.
  • Experience in pricing and contract negotiation.
  • Strong cost knowledge of global services.
  • Knowledge of strategic category management techniques and cost drivers.
  • Experience or knowledge of procure-to-pay processes.
  • 2+ years in non-procurement functions such as Marketing, Finance, Engineering, IT, Operations, HR.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Master's Degree.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience in category management, strategic sourcing, and commercial contracts.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing industry.

Compensation for this role is anticipated to be between $150,000-$160,000 annually, with eligibility for variable pay such as bonuses.
