Pinehurst, LLC in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Guest Services / Bag Attendant to greet guests, direct them to resort amenities, and assist with loading and unloading golf bags.

You will drive a company vehicle, clean and transport clubs, assist Golf Professionals with staging for group outings, and help guests with transportation while maintaining a safe, courteous golf environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (students in school may qualify).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR checks.
• CPR and AED certification required (bi-annual training provided).

• Inspect and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up and break down driving range.
• Wash golf carts and range balls.
• Cross train in other areas when requested by supervisor.

SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to greet and direct guests to resort amenities and with loading and unloading their golf bags.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) as a minimum. Students currently enrolled in High School who are working part time while attending school are an exception.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy. Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
• Greet and direct guests and members to resort amenities.

• Set up and break down driving range.
• Pick driving range.
• Wash golf carts.
• Detail and perform routine maintenance on golf carts
• Wash range balls.
• Cross train in other areas when requested by supervisor.
• Must be trained and certified in CPR and AED on a bi- yearly basis. Training will be provided by the Resort.
• Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment. Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.
