Job summary

Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Outside Services Attendant to support member and guest experiences on the golf course. You will maintain the golf car fleet, handle bags and clubs, stock the driving range, and warmly engage with members throughout the day.

This non-exempt position offers hourly pay between $19 and $20, with full and part-time schedules available, and benefits as described in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Bring out members' golf bags upon arrival and ensure cleanliness.
• Clean clubs and store bags in assigned stalls.
• Deliver and return golf carts to the cart barn safely.
• Assist with loading bags onto carts for members and guests.
• Greet members and guests warmly.
• Maintain neat cart and bag rooms.
• Ensure carts are stocked with scorecards, pencils, and other supplies.
• Report cart malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and hospitality.
• Support supervisor with range setup and driving range maintenance.

POSITION TYPE: Non-Exempt Full or Part Time

Job Summary

The purpose of this job position is to facilitate the member and guest experience at Bel‑Air Country Club. The employee should make concerned efforts to be accountable for all job tasks and responsibilities asked of him/her. The employee will be responsible for maintaining and presenting the golf car fleet, be accountable for and maintain all golf bags and clubs, keep the driving range stocked with amenities and necessities, and finally engage with members and guests throughout the day.

Job Tasks and Essential Functions

• Bring out members golf bags upon arrival, check for cleanliness and complete set.
• Clean golf clubs and store golf bags into the appropriate assigned stall.
• Bring golf carts to and from cart barn carefully and safely.
• Load member and guest bags on carts when needed.
• Greet arriving members and guests in a welcoming and kind fashion.
• Keep carts parked and staged in a neat and orderly fashion.
• When a bag is needed, retrieve the bag from storage and get it to the appropriate desired area.
• Maintain the bag room and cart room in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintain presence in and outside bag room to properly service membership.
• Clean golf carts before and after use and return to cart barn.
• Ensure that all golf carts are properly staged and stocked (i.e.: scorecard, pencil, full sand bottle, tees, towels, etc.)
• Park carts in assigned areas and keep cart barn neat and orderly.
• Report malfunctions or problems with carts promptly.
• Spread hospitality and goodwill among members and guests.
• Maintain neat dress and personal appearance.
• Organize and maintain the driving range
• Set up the driving range in the morning and store the range supplies upon closing the range in the afternoon.
• Proper use of the range picker when cleaning the range
• Properly cleaning golf balls before returning them to be hit again
• Other duties as requested by the Supervisor
