Job summary

Twice is seeking an Outside Services Attendant to deliver outstanding service to members and guests at the club. You will assist the golf operations team with bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and keeping work areas clean.

You will load and unload bags, marshal carts, maintain cart barn and practice facilities, and support daily operations. The role requires outdoor work, good communication, knowledge of golf etiquette, and reliability; weekend/holiday availability may be needed.

Qualifications

Overview

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to members and guests at the club. This position supports the golf operations team by assisting with essential outside services, such as bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas. The attendant is responsible for staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use. Additionally, the role involves providing various golf-related services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all golfers.

Experience Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, talk, hear, and see.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support, including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed.
• Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member and guest experience.
• Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track their usage, and ensure carts are cleaned, maintained, and inspected for damage; report issues to the Golf Shop.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance.
• Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked with equipment such as range balls and prepared for daily use.
• Collaborate with other golf operations staff, including range attendants, marshals, and starters, to ensure seamless and efficient service.
• Complete daily assignments in designated areas while meeting club standards and keeping work areas and the Golf Shop organized and stocked.
• Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and comply with safety guidelines.
• Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to the role.
• Address and resolve challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
• Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities.
