Job summary

Geneva Lake Country Club Inc. is seeking an Outside Service Attendant - Seasonal to manage the golf cart fleet, stock the practice range, and handle members' clubs. This role requires physical activity and the ability to work outdoors during seasonal hours.

Responsibilities include cart movements, range maintenance, club loading, battery charging, and maintaining orderly facilities while presenting a professional image to members and staff.

Qualifications

• Eighth grade education required.

Responsibilities

• Picks up practice-range balls, cleans and stocks as needed.
• Loads member clubs, and handles clubs for carts or racks.
• Charges cart batteries and maintains cart maintenance.
• Keeps storage area clean and organized.
• Assists with special projects and duties as assigned.
• Maintains club facilities, and handles trash and recycling.
• Maintains a positive image with members and staff.
• Follows safety rules and OSHA requirements.
• Keeps attendance, initiative and productivity up.
• Maintains confidentiality of member and employee information.

Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Seasonal

Department: Golf Pro Shop

Job Summary: Responsible for the golf cart fleet, practice range stocking and cleanliness, loading, cleaning and storing members golf clubs.

Responsibilities

• Drives carts from barn, stages, restages, cleans and rotates carts.
• Picks up balls from practice range, cleans and restocks as necessary.
• Pulls member clubs from storage area, loads onto car, cart or bag rack.
• Plugs in and charges cart batteries; refills sand mix on carts.
• Maintains storage facility; sweeps and cleans.
• Assists with special jobs or projects.
• Empties trash and takes trash and recycling from Pro Shop to respective dumpsters.
• Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner with members, Board of Directors, visitors, co-workers, and Managers.
• Portrays a positive image for the Club by dressing appropriately for the position.
• Maintains a safe work environment for self and others. Attends mandatory safety training sessions and adheres to Club and OSHA safety requirements.
• Maintains appropriate levels in the areas of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
• Ensures confidentiality of all Club member and employee information and records.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Eighth grade education required.

Experience: On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Physical Demands: Moderately lifting of golf clubs, sustained periods of walking and standing. Ability to bend, stoop, reach and carry.

Mental Demands: Ability to follow direction.

Environmental Exposed to the elements, hot, cold, sun and rain.
