Job summary

Pine Forest Country Club is seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Outside Services team. This role greets members and guests, assists with loading and staging golf bags, and prepares golf carts according to daily procedures.

You will help maintain driving ranges and practice facilities, and support tournaments and events. Ideal candidates are punctual, team-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf, hospitality, or country-club service is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of golf and golf-course etiquette is helpful.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must possess strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must follow instructions and established procedures.
• Must be available to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, professionally, and by name whenever possible.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and storage of golf bags.
• Prepare and stage golf carts according to the tee sheet and staging procedures.
• Maintain an organized cart rotation and ensure carts are available when needed.
• Clean, inspect, stock, charge, and store golf carts properly.
• Set up, maintain, and close driving range, short-game area, and practice facilities.
• Keep the cart barn, bag room, podium, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Retrieve carts from the course and parking areas safely.
• Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Communicate cart availability and operational concerns to supervisors and staff.
• Follow opening, closing, safety, weather, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with tournaments, member events, and other golf operations as assigned.
• Treat guests with the same courtesy as members.

Pine Forest Country Club is seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Outside Services team. This position serves as one of the first and last points of contact for our members and guests and plays an essential role in creating an organized, welcoming, and first-class golf experience.

Experience Required

• Prior golf, hospitality, customer-service, or country-club experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of golf and golf-course etiquette is helpful.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must possess strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Must be available to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Must meet all club requirements for operating golf carts and utility vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Outside Services Supervisor or golf professional staff.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, and humid conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move golf bags and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and safely operate golf carts and utility vehicles.
