Our client is seeking a Florida based Outside Salesperson with B2B experience in the builder supply space, targeting distributors, facilitators, builders, installers, etc.

The position may be located anywhere in Florida, remote with travel. Ideal areas include Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, or anywhere in South Florida's metros. The company is HQ'd in Carlsbad, CA with a new manufacturing plant in Garland, TX and start-up distribution in Sarasota, FL. The Florida market is hot! Great opportunity for a skilled hunter and closer.

Responsible for the B2B sales of high-end new concept custom stone products to various channels and customers, including fabricators, builders, distributors, end users etc. The product brand was developed by an Italian partner with proven success in Europe. Now we are bringing this disruptor to the US (Made in USA).

The ideal candidate is a solid hunter, developing and closing new relationships and will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold calls in the field to generate new permanent pipeline sales. This candidate will support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business desired, but proven experience overrides.
  • 2+ years' experience in cold calling commercial sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Relationship development and management skills
  • Experience in the consumer stone business preferred but not required

oSales as measured by revenue.

oSales within the price boundaries outlined by the company.

oEnsure required sales collateral is in place and ready for all sales meetings.

oEnsure product samples are in place and used as required.

oAssist with planning and development of industry events and participate in events.

Compensation structure includes base, draw, commissions and company paid health insurance with an opportunity to exceed industry earnings.
