Candidates with a well-rounded background in sales and a dedication to servicing existing accounts as well as developing new business should apply. The candidate must have a proven success record in selling steel-related products. This sales professional must work well in a team environment, coordinating their sales efforts with internal staff.

Job Description:
  1. Understand the objectives and goals of Steel Warehouse sales effort.
  2. Service and build upon existing customer relationships.
  3. Work with a wide variety of customers such as fabricators, service centers, and OEMs.
  4. Identify and develop new accounts.
  5. Introduce innovative products, services, and applications to the market.
  6. Negotiate pricing and pursue orders.
  7. Establish credit terms and expectations.
  8. Develop a greater knowledge of materials for use in sales applications and in claim situations.
  9. Report findings in a clear, concise manner.
  10. Work closely with others to build internal relationships.
  11. Represent Steel Warehouse as a dynamic entity.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
