Job Description

Position Objective: As an Outside Sales Representative, you will generate profitable business by developing your territory, implementing sales plans, maintaining current customers, and building the Sunbelt brand nationally.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Promoting Sunbelt’s safety culture
  2. Developing and executing sales plans to grow the customer base
  3. Calling on customers via phone and travel for visits or cold calls
  4. Preparing proposals by understanding blueprints and customer documents, consulting with engineers
  5. Providing application solutions and promoting safety training
  6. Coordinating project specs with internal teams
  7. Monitoring competitor activities
  8. Maintaining CRM records
  9. Achieving sales targets and KPIs
  10. Building relationships with other Sunbelt divisions
  11. Managing customer accounts and collections
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in equipment rental or Shoring industry, plus 2+ years of sales experience
  • Strong project management, sales, and customer retention skills
  • Technical background and solution-selling experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Preferred: Equipment rental or construction industry experience
Additional Information
