  • $85,000 to $100,000 base. The total target compensation with bonus plan is $106,250 - $125,000

  • Total compensation- 80% base + 20% upcapped commission

  • The position includes additional auto allowance.

Responsibilities
  • The Outside Sales Representative- Medical Sales is responsible for driving sales growth by prospecting new accounts and cultivating existing customer relationships. The Medical Specialist is directly accountable for product management, market growth and development to achieve business and sales objectives in the assigned geography.

  • Increase sales and profit margins by presenting, explaining, and demonstrating medical and specialty gas products and services to new and existing customers within assigned geography.

  • Develop and implement market plans and sales strategies to identify and target prospective customers and achieve sales objectives.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and business support to external and internal customers.

  • Researches and analyzes market data in assigned area or territory to determine new customers, sales volume potential and pricing, and develop a strategy to meet sales targets.

  • Ensures sales objectives are met within the established timelines for assigned area or territory.

  • Ensures that all required business reports are done in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 5 years of additional related experience may be accepted.

  • A minimum of 5 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience to include proven experience and success in solution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managing customers throughout a defined sales territory with industry experience required and industrial sales experience preferred.

  • OR a minimum of 5 years directly related experience in life science and healthcare required with prior outside business-to-business sales experience preferred.

  • Must have excellent time management and follow up skills.

  • Must present a professional presence and demeanor that is reflective of a corporate image.

  • Must be a self-starter and have a strong customer service and relationship orientation.

  • Requires a valid driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance coverage as required by the company.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of medical gas products and processes is preferred.

  • Strong personal computer skills. Google suite, Salesforce preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to multitask in a high volume setting.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and sales objectives.

  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
