Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a proactive B2B Outside Sales Representative on the Genius® team. You will drive new business and own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to close, across a defined territory.

You will build strong relationships with business owners, deliver compelling presentations, and show how Genius® improves operations and loyalty. Expect up to 75% field time, with opportunities to grow within a global payments leader.

Qualifications

• At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales.
• Strong ability to communicate, present and negotiate, both in person and virtually.
• Residence within two hours of the territory; willing to spend up to 75% in the field.

• Expand Global Payments' impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster
• Strengthen long-term client value by identifying opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships
• Spend up to 75% of your time in the field, creating meaningful, face-to-face connections that drive results

What you bring

• At least one year of success in B2B or business-to-consumer (B2C) outside sales, with a track record of delivering results
• Strong ability to communicate, present and negotiate, both in person and virtually
• Confidence building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners
• A competitive, self-driven mindset with the energy to achieve and exceed goals
• Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes
• Valid driver's license and comfort spending up to 75% of your time in the field
• Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive

It's a bonus if you have

• A proven ability to upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades.
• Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus.
• Two full years of B2B Outside Sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services or Saas.
