Outside Sales Representative (Franklin, LA)

Outside Sales Representative – Full-Time (Shared Role)
Employer: Bayou Bend Health System (in partnership with Cooper Wellness Strategies)
Client Sites: Bayou Bend Health System & Bayou Bend Fitness Center – Franklin, LA
(Primarily remote-based with regular travel to client sites and throughout the community)
Job Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week (20 hours/week for Bayou Bend Health System; 20 hours/week for Bayou Bend Fitness Center) Flexible schedule with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Position Summary
Bayou Bend Health System is seeking a dynamic and personable Outside Sales Representative to support community engagement and service growth across both Bayou Bend Health System (BBHS) and Bayou Bend Fitness Center (BBFC) in Franklin, LA. This full-time role is equally dedicated to promoting wellness and medical services while advancing community relationships, corporate partnerships, and strategic outreach.

This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about improving lives through both healthcare and fitness. As part of the Cooper Aerobics family, the representative will play a key role in connecting the broader community to the full continuum of health and wellness services available through BBHS and BBFC.
Primary Responsibilities
Bayou Bend Fitness Center (20 hours/week):

  • Promote memberships and fitness programming through outreach to local businesses, civic groups, and events.
  • Build and maintain external referral relationships to drive lead generation and conversions.
  • Coordinate corporate wellness opportunities, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support internal staff by aligning new member onboarding with external sales efforts.
  • Track CRM data and prepare weekly sales reports.
Bayou Bend Health System (20 hours/week):
  • Develop awareness and understanding of BBHS medical services, clinics, and specialty care offerings.
  • Create and sustain partnerships with schools, churches, civic groups, and businesses.
  • Represent BBHS at health fairs, public events, and speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to promote health screenings and educational programs.
  • Provide insights and feedback to support marketing and community relations strategies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or outreach—preferably in healthcare, wellness, or fitness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups and leading community conversations.
  • Independent, goal-driven, and able to manage dual priorities across organizations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally on a daily basis.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
