Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for HVAC and climate control equipment. You will rent and sell a diverse line of portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and temporary heaters within the Tampa territory, focusing on commercial customers, contractors and event companies.

You will develop new business, nurture existing accounts, and coordinate with divisions to offer turnkey solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC industry.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience.
• Current/valid driver’s license in good standing, and proof of auto insurance.
• Project management, new business development and customer retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Rent and sell Sunbelt’s HVAC and climate control equipment to commercial customers, contractors and event companies.
• Cultivate existing accounts and develop new ones to expand market penetration.
• Collaborate with General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turnkey solutions.
• Work with sales reps and managers to maximize penetration within the territory.
• Maintain knowledge of Sunbelt Rentals products and services to present value to customers.
