Job summary

Venturi Supply is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in our Williston, ND territory. You will develop new business, maintain client relationships, and present sales proposals while collaborating with the branch inside sales team.

The role requires 5+ years in outside sales in related industries, strong MS Office and ERP experience (Eclipse preferred), and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience in the same or similar industry preferred.
• Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
• Experience with distribution-specific ERP systems, preferably Eclipse.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal).
• Thrives in a collaborative environment with a team.
• Detail oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Physical requirements: sit/stand/walk, lift to 50 lbs, carry, reach, push/pull.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.

• Negotiates contracts and work agreements.
• Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
• Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit.
• Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.
• Performs additional duties as required and assigned.

Role Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the achievement of the sales and profit objectives for their assigned territory/industry. Works closely with the Sales Manager in establishing the territory sales targets to maximize sales targets.
