Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in our power distribution equipment and field services market within the DFW area. The role focuses on building end-user relationships through in-person engagements, prospecting, and strategic account development.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited 2-year technical college preferred (electrical power focus), or equivalent military training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of power distribution equipment sales experience or 5+ years of sales experience in an industrial or technical environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a field-based, outside sales role.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (NetSuite a plus), Microsoft Excel, and standard business tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a defined sales territory by identifying, targeting, and visiting prospective and existing customers.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers through regular onsite meetings, job site visits, and industry events.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions, leveraging technical knowledge to support sales efforts.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing and post-sale follow-up.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery expectations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel within assigned territory as needed to support customer needs and business growth.
