Are you prospecting for a great career win? If yes, this is an outstanding opportunity for a highly driven field sales engineer in the Western Indiana area. We are currently looking for someone to work with end-users, has a technical background, and is sales oriented. You will be working under the leadership of a Sr. Sales Engineer using your technical knowledge to support key sales efforts with end-users throughout the territory.

Territory: Indiana

Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote products and solutions that achieve sales quota by building rapport, providing training, and making end user calls.
  • Proactively expand product portfolio sales at existing and potential end-user customers through promoting new product introductions, seminars, training, and customer exposure events.
  • Work under the direction of the Sr. Sales Engineer to drive the activities and performance of the assigned territory.
  • Become knowledgeable of competitive products and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, produce demos, training, and address end-user customer requirements.
  • Effectively use company resources, including the use of our customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Develop long term relationships with end users (within company guidelines).
  • Maintain records and develop reports to track territory activity.
  • Provide monthly forecasts to assigned manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree required. A BS or equivalent four-year degree, specifically within an engineering, marketing, or technology field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to operate independently after initial training period under predetermined goals. Work in fast-paced changing environment, requiring creativity and independent judgment.

Travel: Some overnight travel is required.
