Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Reporting to: Vice President of Sales and Velocity

Perimetrics is a disruptive dental AI technology company, known for its InnerView diagnostic system. InnerView is built on a “Razor, Razorblade, SaaS” model, with one primary corporate objective: enhancing patient health through increased velocity (usage) of InnerView procedure volume across both dentist and hygiene operatories.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dental Sales Representative to join our team and drive adoption of InnerView. This role requires a proven rep with strong relationships and a solid following among both the dental and hygiene operatories of General Practitioners (GPs) in the region.

As the face of InnerView in your territory, you will expand our footprint in the market, build or enhance lasting customer relationships, and help us deliver on our commitment to create Raving Fans. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who knows how to open doors, develop markets, and consistently deliver results in the dental industry.

Your ultimate goal: Increase the footprint of InnerView systems within the dental community while elevating the standard of care for dental practices and their patients.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
  • Represent InnerView in the market as a trusted advisor to dentists and Hygienists
  • Leverage existing relationships and networks to expand market presence
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities through practice visits, calls, referrals, seminars, conferences and trade shows
  • Grow footprint - Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas by scaling the number of InnerView systems placed in practices
Customer Engagement & Presentations
  • Meet or exceed goals for InnerView velocity in the practice through education, training and awareness. Create and deliver persuasive product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to practices
  • Use deep dental industry knowledge to gather requirements, prepare specifications, and generate accurate quotes
  • Build trust and confidence by addressing technical questions and concerns with credibility
  • Establish InnerView as a high-value solution that elevates patient outcomes and practice reputation
Collaboration & Market Insights
  • Partner with internal product, technical, and marketing teams to provide customer insights and recommendations
  • Share market intelligence and competitive feedback to shape go-to-market strategies
  • Contribute ideas for product enhancements and value-added services based on direct customer input.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical, scientific, or business discipline
  • 4–7 years of successful dental sales experience, specifically selling into General Practices (Required)
  • Strong network and established relationships with GPs in the territory
  • Proven ability to drive new business, grow market share, and close complex sales cycles
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel within territory to build and maintain strong customer relationships

Compensation for this role varies by territory and experience. The estimated base salary ranges are:

  • Chicago & Texas: $109,000 – $130,000
  • Seattle, Los Angeles, Orange County, and New York: $115,000 – $140,000
  • San Francisco: $130,000 – $155,000

All roles include a highly competitive commission structure in addition to base salary.
