What do our Pest Control Consultants do?

The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company's industry-leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. You’ll be the face of our national brand to your local community, and your clients will count on you to protect their homes and families. This includes assessing customer needs through consultation and analysis, utilizing expert knowledge of our products and services to sell pest control solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, entries, etc., and sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on findings.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to increase opportunities.
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and develop proposals for pest issues and additional services.
  • Complete Home diagrams using Sales CRM to understand customer homes and challenges.
  • Follow up on proposals to close sales opportunities.
  • Provide expert knowledge during new service installations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Use the company sales CRM daily to track activities and performance.
Essential Job Functions:

Physical demands are part of the role, with reasonable accommodations available. These include:

  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. regularly, and 11–20 lbs. frequently.
  • Moving around extensively, including climbing stairs, ladders, and working on narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • Dealing with various pests and entering small spaces like basements and attics.
  • Operating a motor vehicle safely and maintaining equipment.
  • Wearing PPE and working in confined spaces when required.
What do you need?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license; company vehicle and gas card provided.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; sales experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% within assigned territory.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening.
