Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a proactive sales professional to establish new business with prospective customers and expand company involvement at client locations. You will develop and maintain customer contacts, solicit opportunities, and provide expert guidance across technical and product areas.

This safety-sensitive role requires the ability to work in a constant state of awareness, pass pre-employment drug testing, and operate an automobile to reach customer sites.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess industry and territory knowledge required for maximum potential. In addition, he/she must be to able to manage well established existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities in trading areas served. College courses in sales, marketing or business administration preferred. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to access customer business locations. Must be able to operate an automobile.
