Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products.
• Maintain current pricing from the manufacturers.
• Use expert application, installation and product knowledge to meet goals.
• Interpret and read structural blueprints.
• Accept payments and apply to the correct customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick-ups with the warehouse.
• Provide material layouts and competitive takeoffs.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.Specific duties may include:Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutionsFollowing a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and suppliesMaintaining current pricing from the manufacturersUsing expert application, installation and product knowledge to successfully meet goalsInterpreting and reading structural blueprintsAccepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer accountCoordinating customer pick-ups with the warehouseProviding material layouts and competing takeoffsReordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stockedAddressing and resolving service concerns, should they ariseSpecific qualifications include:Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in commercial roofing sales/estimatingPrevious experience in an inside or outside sales role is requiredA solid understanding of commercial roofing products and proceduresMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffective time management and prioritization skillsBasic computer skillsPositive attitude and team playerDetail and service-orientedABC Supply values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
