Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a well-established industrial distributor in McAllen, TX. You will develop and manage a defined territory, travel into Mexico, and collaborate with Inside Sales to grow customer accounts and solve industrial problems.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, has 2+ years in industrial sales, and is bilingual (Spanish/English).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years industrial sales experience.
• General knowledge of manufacturing, aggregate material suppliers, and similar industrial businesses.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Experience selling to customers in Mexico required.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory, including cross-border travel into Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an assigned sales territory, calling on existing and prospective industrial and manufacturing customers.
• Generate new business through prospecting, leads, trade shows, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts and customer stakeholders.
• Sell industrial products and MRO/OEM solutions using catalogs and samples.
• Prepare quotes, pricing, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales to process orders and maintain activity.
• Provide customers with estimated delivery timelines based on schedules.
• Enter and maintain customer, prospect, and sales activity in CRM.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate customer product training as needed.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues involving products, service, orders, or deliveries.
• Prepare sales activity and business transaction reports and maintain expense records.
• Attend trade shows and customer meetings within the territory.
• Travel throughout the territory, including visits to Mexico.

Outside Sales - Industrial Distribution - Total Compensation to 65k/year - McAllen, TX

Our client is an established industrial distribution company providing MRO and OEM products to manufacturing, aggregate, and other industrial customers. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage customer relationships throughout an assigned territory that includes travel into Mexico. This role works closely with the Inside Sales team to support customer accounts, generate new business, and provide industrial product solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage an assigned sales territory, calling on existing and prospective industrial and manufacturing customers
• Generate new business through prospecting, lead generation, industry resources, trade shows, online research, and other sales channels
• Build and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts and other customer stakeholders
• Sell industrial products and MRO/OEM solutions using product samples, catalogs, and other sales materials
• Prepare quotes, pricing, credit terms, sales contracts, and purchase orders
• Coordinate with Inside Sales to process orders and maintain customer account activity
• Provide customers with estimated delivery timelines based on production and delivery schedules
• Enter and maintain customer, prospect, and sales activity information within CRM/database systems
• Track inventory levels and coordinate customer product training as needed
• Investigate and resolve customer issues involving products, service, orders, or deliveries
• Prepare sales activity and business transaction reports and maintain expense records
• Attend trade shows and customer meetings throughout the assigned territory
• Travel throughout the assigned territory, including customer visits in Mexico

Qualifications:

Compensation:

• Total compensation is comprised of a base salary up to 50k/year, plus 15k guaranteed commission
