Job summary

Guild Garage Group LLC in Inwood, WV is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to drive new business for our garage door services. Earn $100,000–$120,000+ annually after paid training through uncapped commissions and repeat client opportunities.

You will meet homeowners and builders, tailor door solutions, and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to project completion. Training supports growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven sales experience in home services, construction, remodeling, or trades.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage your schedule.
• Familiarity with CRM software; ServiceTitan is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners and commercial clients to assess garage door needs and propose solutions.
• Build trust through customer-first sales conversations.
• Manage sales process from initial consult to project completion.
• Prepare accurate estimates for repairs, replacements, and installations.
• Coordinate with installation/service teams to ensure a great customer experience.
• Maintain customer records and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Generate referrals and foster lasting relationships.
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners, commercial & new builder clients to assess their garage door needs and recommend the best solutions
• Build trust through consultative, customer-first sales conversations
• Manage the sales process from initial consultation through project completion
• Prepare accurate estimates for repairs, replacements, and new installations
• Recommend products and upgrades that improve safety, appearance, and functionality
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
• Maintain detailed customer information and follow-ups using ServiceTitan
• Generate referrals and build lasting customer relationships
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training
• Help contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of successful sales experience (home services, construction, remodeling, or skilled trades preferred)
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule
• Comfortable using technology and CRM software (ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions when needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
