Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to enhance market position and drive financial growth. The role focuses on New Business Development, Customer Retention, and Account Planning, requiring collaboration across teams.

Located in Southern CA or nearby, travel within a diverse territory is expected. Compensation includes a base salary in the 100k–120k range plus commission; total compensation varies with performance and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in selling within printing, packaging or folding cartons.
• Experience in applicable vertical markets (wine, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and household products).
• Thorough knowledge of printing; Prime label and/or flexible packaging experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to resolve problems.
• Willingness to travel locally with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business through strategic prospecting.
• Develop tactical plans to maintain and expand services with existing and assigned accounts.
• Proactively identify new customers and new project opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between customer and organization throughout the sales and production process.
• Establish high-level relationships and understand customers' business and requirements.
• Provide regular reporting to management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
• Update and maintain sales activity and CRM data in Salesforce CRM.
• Maintain regular contact with customers about new products, capabilities, and services.
• Forecast and meet monthly and annual sales targets.

Resource Label Group is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant that will work to improve RLG's market position and achieve financial growth.

The Outside Sales Consultant will build key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, negotiate, close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This individual will focus on three key areas for sales: New Business Development, Customer Retention and Account Planning. This role is highly collaborative as it requires interaction with various staff throughout the organization, both internal and external.

An ideal candidate will be located in Southern CA or surrounding areas and have ability to travel and service customers within a diverse territory. Compensation for this role is reflective of an annual base (pay range: 100 - 120K base) + commission opportunity. Total compensation will vary dependent on individual performance & meeting sales targets.

• Must have positive demeanor and work well with customers and company employees.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time as required.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Must be driven to succeed and work well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Some travel required within a local market (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
