Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a field-based Sales professional to promote and sell our water, wastewater and fire protection solutions in assigned territories across the United States. You will respond to customer needs, build relationships and drive revenue growth.

The role requires external sales experience, a BS/BA in a related discipline, and willingness to travel 20–50%. You will collaborate with customers, vendors, and credit/A/R to resolve issues and expand the customer base.

Responsibilities

• Provides full-service support for existing customer base in assigned territory including sales and delivery.
• Manages sales volume with an existing customer group and assists with prospecting to expand the customer base.
• Services and maintains orders to customers within assigned territory.
• Participates in pricing for assigned accounts.
• Works with DSM but requires autonomous decision making for outside territory.
• Partners with customers, vendors, credit, and A/R to resolve customer service issues.
• Identifies customer products needs and consummates sales.
