  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience.

Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with such operation exceeding 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement, and the company will conduct a report if selected.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels to foster strong relationships and collaborations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, contributing to effective sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, participate in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate skill in data analysis by resolving missing or inconsistent information in complex research/data.
  • Work independently, receiving guidance only on complex issues. Work is periodically reviewed by a supervisor or direct customers.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
  • Most of the time spent sitting with opportunities to move; occasional lifting of light articles may be required.
  • Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Pay Range

$58,900.00-$85,500.00 annually.
