DH Pace Company, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Outside Residential Sales Representative to build relationships and sell residential garage doors and related products.

You will meet with homeowners, home builders, and decision makers to drive opportunities and close deals. The role emphasizes consultative sales, accurate proposals, and strong customer service. A bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years outside sales in this space are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and highly valued.
• At least 3 years of outside sales experience in the garage door/home building space preferred.
• Ability to work with technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Experience with blueprints/plans and specs is highly desired.
• Outgoing personality with strong customer focus and communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet with decision makers to influence purchases of residential garage doors and related products.
• Develop sales opportunities and solve customer problems through consultative selling.
• Cultivate sales with homeowners and home builders in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas.
• Provide timely estimates and proposals; manage from initial contact to closing.
• Maintain CRM daily and follow up to close projects; participate in project management as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of residential garage doors and related garage door products and services.


• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems, consultative sales


• Cultivate sales with homeowners and home builders in St. Louis, MO and the surrounding areas


• Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards


• Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals


• Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customers’ needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services


• Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale


• Follow up quickly to close customer projects and participate in project management when necessary


• Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred


• Minimum three (3) years outside sales experience - garage door industry or selling for home/rebuilding supplies preferred


• Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems


• Experience with Blue Prints/Plans and Specs highly desired


• Must have an outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers


• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License


• Other duties as assigned
