Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range for this position is $48,700.00 - $80,400.00 and varies based on factors such as location, experience, and skills. Employees are also eligible for performance-based incentives.
What Is the Opportunity?
LOCATION REQUIREMENT: This position services Insureds/Agents in and around Goochland, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, VA. The candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate at their own expense to this territory.
This entry-level role involves completing required training to develop skills for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving claims of lesser value and complexity. It includes handling customer contacts, coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution, all in compliance with standards and regulations. The position is 100% remote, with possible travel for training.
What Will You Do?
Must Secure And Maintain Company Credit Card
Obtaining and maintaining insurance licenses may be required, with a typical deadline of three months from start date.
This role involves physically inspecting properties, including climbing ladders safely, and may include deployment to catastrophes.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: High School/GED
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or two years of relevant experience, customer service skills, valid driver’s license, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
