Job summary

Uniti Fiber is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer to design and optimize fiber network facilities and drive project completion in the field. You will analyze data to solve complex problems for fiber customers and build lasting customer relationships.

The role entails 70% field work and 30% office work, with opportunities to engage in planning, design, and maintenance activities across markets. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to be a self-starter, able to work with little guidance.
• Ability to work in a self-directed work group, work easily with others and be a team player.
• Ability to analyze problems and priorities and make decisions.
• A love of solving problems and building solutions.
• Ability to travel overnight and out of the market up to 25% of the time is required for this role.

About This Role

• Previous telecommunication engineering experience or courses in engineering.
