Opti Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Laborer (Outside) in Anchorage, AK, for full-time, year-round work performing upkeep tasks, repairs, cleaning, and facility services. Responsibilities include snow removal, installing appliances, groundskeeping, and assisting other departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
• Install appliances and equipment
• Assist other departments with various tasks
• Perform grounds/yard upkeep: mowing, weeding, watering, collecting trash and debris
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
• Check functionality of safety systems
• Use yard maintenance equipment (weed whacker, lawn mower, etc.)
• Operate various hand and electrical tools
• Perform snow removal during winter season
• Install/remove holiday decorations
• Perform exterior tasks such as pothole repair, crack seal, parking lot painting, power washing sidewalks and buildings
• Removal/installation of furniture, desks, rugs, pictures, and other bulky or heavy items from suites (prescheduled)
• Install and take down exterior/interior holiday decorations, lights, and displays (prescheduled)
• Maneuver common-area benches, tables, and chairs (prescheduled)
• Kiosk placement and removal (prescheduled)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Report to a facilities or maintenance contact on all issues

Maintenance Laborer (Outside) — Full-Time, Year-Round

We are looking for a full-time, year-round Maintenance Laborer to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs, cleaning, and various facility services. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to excelling in this position. The ideal candidate will have experience and basic technical knowledge, along with manual dexterity and physical stamina.
