Job Description

The pay range for this position ranges from $25.73/hr - $26.78/hr.

This is an entry-level position to work in the Outside Machinist Trade. Applicants may be assigned any O04 Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned basic operations including (but not limited to) tacking, layout, drilling, equipment installations, or to assist more experienced Outside Machinists in complex job assignments.

Required/Preferred Education/Training

Preferred:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Trade or Technical school in a mechanical field.
Required/Preferred Experience

Required:

  1. Experience using basic shop tools and hand tools, wrenches, ratchets, sockets, etc.
  2. Must be able to read a tape measure, do basic layout, and perform simple math calculations.
  3. Must meet the requirements of the O04 physical task analysis.

Preferred:

  1. Experience working in a mechanical field.
  2. Must have the ability to read basic blueprints.
