We are currently recruiting for an Outside Machinist East Plant position at our Lake Charles, Louisiana, East Plant facility.

Key Accountabilities

1. Analyze and determine causes of faulty conditions of pumps and other equipment, and correct them by repair, calibration, and adjustment to meet operational and quality requirements.
2. Install and calibrate new pumps, equipment, and machinery as specified in new installations or current use.
3. Overhaul, clean, repair, adjust, align, and calibrate various types of pumps, machinery, and equipment.
4. Perform routine preventive maintenance using various analyses, meters, and test equipment.
5. Properly attach accessories and demonstrate safe usage of pneumatic and power tools issued from the tool room.
6. Have the physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform moderate to heavy lifting.
7. Repair and rebuild rotating equipment.

Formal Education/Working Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of experience applicable to Outside Machinist, or
• Technical, industrial, craft degree, or other relevant training.

Required Personal/Professional Skills

• Acceptable and clean work history.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements.
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions.
