Job description

Job Summary: When you visit the Disneyland Resort, are you the one in your group looking at how things work? Are you an Automotive-Maintenance mechanic - and do you enjoy working with your hands and repairing large equipment? Are you tired of companies closing their doors or moving out of state? Then we may have your dream job!

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Two or more years' experience directly related to automotive mechanics

Schedule Availability

  • Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and basic tools required of a machinist
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Familiar with automotive engines (gas, diesel, CNG), transmissions, and differentials.
  • Be able to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring schematics.
  • Familiarity with the use of PCs
  • Ability to use fall protection, boatswain's chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipment
  • Experience using standard shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, band saws
  • Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (Mules), man lifts and lift trucks

Additional Information: The pay rate for this role in California is $40.02 to $48.73 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
