Job summary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking an Outreach Worker for our Community Based program in Fall River. You will support youth and families, document casework, and coordinate outreach efforts in collaboration with a clinician and staff.

The role requires CORI/SORI clearance, a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and use of a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement. A Bachelor's Degree (or Associate's with five years of relevant experience) is preferred.

Qualifications

• CORI/SORI background check required.
• Driver's license and proof of car insurance.
• Clean driving record and use of personal vehicle for daily work.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Community Based program is l ooking for energetic and flexible staff who have a passion to make a difference for children and families in our communities for our new Comprehensive Family Programs! The capacity to balance both treatment oriented support to youth and their parents/caretakers, and casework documentation and outreach responsibilities for youth who are involved with the Department of Children and Families is essential. The Outreach Worker will be comfortable working independently, and as part of a team with a Clinician, other youth and family support staff in both an adolescent group environment and with a caseload of assigned individual consumers. The a bility to build a strong rapport and communicate with youth, families , state agency workers, and collateral resources in person and by phone is necessary.

Requirements

Position requires CORI/SORI, driver's license, proof of car insurance, clean driving record, and use of personal vehicle to complete daily work assignments with mileage reimbursement. Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience.

$18.00 - $21.50 / hour
