Compensation:

  • Starting from $14.91 to $18.64 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute outreach and recruitment activities supporting NFJP and CSBG program goals, maintaining logs
  • Build and sustain local service provider networks, conduct presentations, and participate in community meetings
  • Respond to inquiries via phone/email/text, schedule appointments, and provide program information; offer emergency assistance when needed
  • Manage participant applications, conduct interviews, and verify eligibility
  • Provide emergency support (food, gas, shelter, transportation, supplies) to farmworker families in designated counties
  • Refer participants to social services, coordinate with agencies, and support access to education, training, and employment services
  • Assist with case management, follow-up, and data entry for tracking activities and outcomes
  • Help participants access services to achieve goals and promote family self-sufficiency
  • Refer clients to other programs for co-enrollment and maintain accurate records
  • Collect community resource information and attend relevant meetings and training

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; additional education or experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 months experience in case management or community resource development, working with low-income families
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing at least 30 WPM
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Regular standing, walking, sitting, bending; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent driving and exposure to varied temperatures and moderate noise levels

Tools & Equipment:

  • Document scanning and encryption tools as needed

Additional Requirements:

Successful driver’s license check required prior to employment.
