Job Summary

Under the direction of the Phlebotomy Coordinator(s), Operations Manager, and Phlebotomy Manager, Phlebotomists perform support services to the laboratory and provide phlebotomy services for all clients. Responsibilities vary depending on the assigned area and shift.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to handle several processes concurrently and effectively deal with a wide range of personalities, technical, and support staff.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting, or completion of a phlebotomy course as part of an associate or bachelor degree program such as nursing.
  • Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record, reviewed annually.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Personal vehicle.
