Gulf Bend Center is seeking an Outreach Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Victoria, TX. The role emphasizes person-centered, family-centered, and trauma-informed care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver holistic services.

The Outreach Nurse is a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) capable of practicing in a person-centered, family-centered, and trauma-informed manner. The Outreach Nurse will work closely with the other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to achieve a wholistic approach to care.
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; a current, uninfringed license to practice vocational nursing (LVN) in the State of Texas; at least three years' experience in nursing.
Preferred: Hospital or home health experience.
Atrauma-informed approach to care ?realizes the widespread impact of trauma andunderstands potential paths for recovery; recognizes the signs and symptoms oftrauma in clients, families, staff, and others involved in the system; andresponds by fully integrating knowledge about trauma into policies, procedures,and practices, and seeks to actively resist re-traumatization.? The six keyprinciples of a trauma-informed approach include: safety; trustworthiness andtransparency; peer support; collaboration and mutuality; empowerment, voice,and choice; and cultural, historical and gender issues (Substance Abuse andMental Health Services Administration [2014]).
