Indianapolis EMS seeks anMIH EMT to deliver community-based emergency medical care and participate as a team member within a patient-centered medical home model. You will follow Marion County protocols and document care in the ePCR system.

The MIH EMT provides patient care in the community for both short-term and long-term management of referred patients. The EMT is expected to function as a fully participating member of a patient's medical home care team. The EMT provides emergency medical services as directed by IEMS medical protocols.

Minimum of high school diploma or GED required Valid Indiana EMT-B or paramedic certification American Heart Association CPR Certification Emergency Vehicle Operator Certifications Continuing education to maintain all required certifications Minimum of 2 years of organized training in a healthcare field (i.e., EMT-B, paramedic, nursing, social work, etc.) preferred. Will accept work in an outreach focused position in lieu of healthcare field work. Valid Indiana driver's license that meets Indianapolis EMS's driving policy requirements

Regular contact with general public to provide care Work collaboratively with and effectively within a team of employees and local resource providers within Marion County
