Millennium Physician Group is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in an outpatient setting, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images for physician interpretation.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified, hold a Florida license, and have strong patient care and communication skills. This role requires accurate records, collaboration with healthcare teams, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
• FL State License.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations as ordered by providers.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiographic equipment to obtain quality images.
• Verify patient identity and medical information before procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
• Follow radiation safety practices and utilize appropriate shielding techniques.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in the EMR.
• Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
